I qualified in 2012 and haven’t looked back. I enjoy fostering a love of driving in others. I see driving as a life skill and teach my pupils how to be a safe drivers for life.

I have been told that learning to drive with me is “like being taught by your mum”. My teaching style is, I hope, kind and patient. I don’t shout. I listen to pupils’ concerns and try to find sensible solutions that work for the individual rather than taking a “one size fits all” approach.

I enjoy working with those with diverse needs and have undertaken additional training to help me to teach deaf students.  

Likes: When a pupil perfectly executes a manoeuvre for the first time.

Dislikes: Cars parked at junctions and on pavements.
