What a fantastic experience from start to passing. When looking for lessons, Bubble were helpful and responsive finding me a driver who covered my area and in the times I could do.

Nuha was everything I could have hoped for in an instructor - patient, helpful and encouraging. After putting off learning to drive for so long, she did a perfect job of taking me from 0 to passing my test (first time) in a short space of time. Your Feedback: I think Sarah’s style of teaching should be the standard other instructors hold themselves to. From the beginning Sarah made me feel at ease and I’d particularly recommend her for anyone who feels nervous. I looked forward to my driving lessons because I always felt safe and like I could voice any questions and we’d have some lovely chats about life.

Driving can be stressful and setbacks are common but Sarah always enabled me to pick myself back up again. She never got frustrated if you made a mistake, but you could count on her to correct and then debrief on what went wrong. She's very patient and when I moved away from the city I would actually travel in purely to continue our lessons as I refused to get another instructor. I didn’t think another instructor could compare and I didn’t want to stunt any progress. Sarah has a great sense of humor and empathy. It was very easy to book lessons and discuss what I wanted to improve on and she would push me to tackle my weak areas.

I needed my license before a set time and I’m so grateful that Sarah enabled me to pass my test and gain independence.

 Dear Bubble Team

I wanted to let you know, how fantastic a driving instructor you have in Matt H who joined Bubble in July 2023.

I am 48 years old and had tried on several occassions many years ago to learn to drive in Cornwall, but had been unsuccessful.

I commenced my lessons with Matt on 12 July and on Friday 13 October I passed my test at the first attempt since retaking up driving, with 2 minors.

I cannot praise Matt highly enough.  From my very first lesson, he boosted my confidence immediately and exhuded positivity.  I was amazed the elements I had remembered after so many years, however there is no doubt that Matt’s instructor skills were central to me passing. 

His tuition and instruction were absolutely fantastic, and in contrast to other instructors in the past, he stripped everything back to extremely practical and simple to understand instructions, which were easy to remember and that I was able to practice outside of my lessons with him. When I was struggling with the spiral roundabouts, again Matt came up with a practical way to think of things that then enabled me to understand.

In particular his reassurance that I was absolutely up to test standards, his reminders to just drive like I do on the lessons, to think of it as another lesson, and to remember the test overall is relatively short in comparison to a two hour driving lesson, were all really helpful to managing my nerves come test day. 

Matt is a really nice guy, very calm and it was a pleasure to have lessons with him.  He is entirely reliable, always turning up and on time, and given the shortage of test’s dates available, always said to me, if you get a test date earlier, book it and he would rearrange his commitments to make it work, which is what he did. 

I cannot describe the elation I have had for the last few days since passing my test. Passing my test is particularly important to me as unfortunately my wife has a terminal illness and the ability to  now be able to drive my wife around (who has done all the driving in the many years we have been together) when she is not well enough is extremely important to me.  The independence and difference this will make to me and my family is immeasurable. I will always be most grateful to Matt for his help in making this possible. 

Anyone who has Matt as a driving instructor is extremely lucky and I thought it was important to tell you what a great asset Matt is to the Bubble Team.

Firstly, thank you for the card that Bubble sent from the office, this was a really sweet gesture! I also want to extend my gratitude for my driving lessons with Ross and my experience in general. I think I had around 60 hours total (+8 hours after I passed my test to do motorways and city centre driving) which I am happy with as I am quite anxious and had no car to practice with in between, but I passed on my first try early Jan - so it all worked out!

Ross is such a great driving instructor and a real asset to the Bubble Driving team. He made me feel that sense of safety that you get when you are with your Dad, and I felt safe and supported learning something that was new and alien, that could be very dangerous. Ross also knows how to make you laugh, poke fun at you and joke around like he was your cool Uncle! Inevitably during moments where I did make avoidable mistakes or drove recklessly, he would rightfully so, go into Dad mode (lol) and made it very clear why something I did was dangerous and would ensure I reflected on it and how to do better next time! What really cemented his ability as an instructor and all round decent human was about a month into my lessons, I recall the morning of a lesson where I had alot of anxiety and was feeling very overwhelmed, to the point I almost cancelled the session last minute, (even though I knew this meant I'd lose out financially). I told Ross that I was really anxious and not having a good day and to forgive what would be an upcoming shoddy performance, Instead of dismissing it and pretending I never said it (as most would do because it is awkward), he spent the time to ask me why I was feeling that way, if it was related to the driving, if there was anything specifically we could focus on that would help settle those nerves, and I didn't realise it at the time, but there were things that I was anxious about, that he helped me understand - and by the end of the lesson I was fine.

I don't really have many older male role models/figures in my life, and was initially reluctant to learn to drive for so long as you hear about some women having horrible experiences with being yelled at or made to feel stupid by driving instructors, and I thought it would be too scary - but I was so wrong. These 2 hour lessons was probably just a standard day at work for Ross and how he would carry himself normally - but this made a massive difference to my experience and I will be forever grateful, learning to drive and being taught by Ross has actually changed my life (as silly as it sounds)!.

Why did you choose BubbLe Driving School?: Bubble were the only school that offered automatic in both Clevedon and Weston outside of the 9-5 hours. As someone who works 9-5 my availability for lessons were limited and I was really struggling to find someone who could meet my needs.
Your Feedback: I experienced 3 previous instructors before Singe and really struggled to get on with them. Singe was the first instructor I had that took the time to understand how I learnt and adapted to it. He also has great teaching techniques and ways to remember certain things. He has a cracking sense of humour and is great at putting you at ease.

Chris from Bubble was an absolutely amazing instructor! He made sure that I was confident before I passed my test, and made me feel very secure from the first time I drove the car. Your Feedback: I had a great experience learning to drive with Sylwia. She was patient and clear in explaining things. I took my test and passed after about 40 hours, when my previous instructor told me it would take me much longer to learn, Sylwia's teaching style was clearly much better suited to me.
Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: My instructor was Sylwia, she was a great teacher, very clear, patient and friendly. It was always easy to make conversation as well as learning next steps in driving making the whole process much more relaxed and more enjoyable!

The customer service provided when booking lessons was great, they were prompt with responses and found me an instructor the same day I contacted them.

Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: Marcus S was my instructor and we got on really well, he made the lessons thoroughly enjoyable (after getting bored at a previous school) and ensured that I was making progress every lesson. Even when the lockdown came into place meaning my lessons were put on hold, we quickly got back up to speed when my lessons resumed and thats thanks to Marcus' teaching. We had friendly catch ups every lesson and had a nice time talking about TV shows we'd watched, and both being Doctor Who fans we had lots to talk about.

Would you recommend your instructor and BubbLe driving school?: I can't recommend Marcus S highly enough. With his clear and easy to follow instructions he made me feel instantly relaxed being back behind the wheel.

At the start of every lesson Marcus would inform me on the plan for the session and was very considerate and asked if there was anything I wanted to add and incorporate this. He was professional and tracked my progress thoroughly, at the end of each lesson he would review how I did and explain what we'd move onto next, keeping me informed and involved.

Marcus S was supportive and encouraging the entire time. Friendly and professional, he's the best driving instructor you'll find!

Having had the support of Marcus and Bubble Driving school I know that I will be a safe, confident and calm driver on the roads.

Why did you choose BubbLe Driving School?: I contacted Bubble Driving School in Bristol after two lots of manual driving lessons with questionable instructors. I found that my previous instructors knocked my confidence by pushing me out of my comfort zone before I was ready. I wasn't progressing and it was costing alot of money
Your Feedback: I made the decision to learn in an automatic with Bubble and was paired with Instructor Sylwia. From my first lesson she helped to restore the confidence I had lost through her calm and encouraging teaching. I felt that the lessons were prepared with my individual learning style in mind which enabled me pass sooner than I had expected.

We spent time working on things that I previously struggled with, reverse parking, sign reading and big roundabouts. Sylwia waited until she felt I was ready to take my test, and in doing so, made me feel I was ready too. Sylwia also guided me through the process of booking my theory and practical test.

I am please to say that with the help of Sylwia and the Bubble team, I passed my theory test with 100% and passed my practical with 0 faults.

Why did you choose BubbLe Driving School?: Honestly don't recall, it was pre-pandemic, but I'm sure I associated the name with good quality instruction.
Your Feedback: I'm not the biggest fan of driving but my Bubble instructor made it seem much less tiresome than previous instructors. Great debriefs at the ends of lessons, kind system of grandfathering existing learners in at their old price, and fun-looking car stickers.
Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: Marcus. We got on very well, managed to keep it light and fun most of the time which helped me a lot, but he wasn't afraid to get serious if he thought I was doing something unsafe, which is all you can ask for really!
Would you recommend your instructor and BubbLe driving school?: Yes, although I would warn I think they only offer two hour lessons as I don't think that's ideal for everybody.

Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: Sarah Jayne has been my instructor and its been a fantastic experience with her from start to finish. I was a fairly nervous driver and had had some prior lessons with instructors that I didn't have a great experience with. I had also taken one test which I failed but she really made a difference. She gave me the confidence to go for it and I really progressed in my lessons with her. I passed yesterday with only three minors which I was overjoyed with.

Would really recommend her to anyone, she is a great instructor. Patient and helpful even when you make mistakes, gives you feedback when you need it and just overall a lovely person who gets the best out of her students. Will miss our chats!

Your Feedback: Having tried a few manual lessons when I was younger and giving up, I finally decided to try again. It wasn't easy to do during the pandemic, and having to stop for periods of time was hard but it was all worth it. Dan and Sylwia were absolutely fantastic.

Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: I started with Dan and then Sylwia took over and I had the majority of lessons with her. Both were incredibly patient and professional and really good at putting me at ease. Sylwia was fantastic at building up my confidence and making sure that I understood not only the basics but that I was well equipped to handle difficult situations too. Mike F not only teaches you how to pass your test but teaches you how to drive with a high standard of driving on all types of roads. Also, how to handle very difficult situations safely (and with ease) that may occur anytime you are driving

Whenever you make a mistake Mike F is always calm, patient whilst giving you confidence to learn from your mistakes through constant encouragement. Mike F teaches you high level of skills that provides you with the knowledge of how to drive safely and calmly on all routes including outside test routes.

When needed Mike F also adapts lesson so they focus on the driving areas that are a weakness to you individually, and is always fully committed into turning every weakness into a strength even if it is a skill that is hard to master

Your Feedback: I hadn't driven in almost a decade, and was looking for some refresher lessons to revise my skills and boost my confidence (especially having always been a bit of a nervous driver!)

Sarah-Jayne is a brilliant instructor and just the kind of person I was hoping for - friendly, patient, calm and supportive. She was very understanding of my anxieties, but she also encouraged me to believe that I was capable of more than I thought.

I really appreciated Sarah-Jayne's flexibility in organising lessons, too - she went out of her way to help plan a lesson that would test some of the route I would be travelling on my new commute, which I really can't thank her enough for.

I had three refresher lessons and I'm now much more confident about getting back on the road. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Sarah-Jayne again if I wanted to brush up on any skills!

I just wanted to feedback that I had two refresher lessons with Jenny w, and then felt brave enough to drive my son to his forest school on my own. I havent driven in a longtime but jenny really helped my confindance grow.

So, I wanted to say thank you and also feedback on how brilliant your customer service was, getting back to me the same day and offering me available instructor dates. Everything was very clear and prompt. 

As a contrast, I emailed AA driving school on the same day as yourselves and they only replied to me by text today, to say they had no available instructors in my area! 

Thanks again for helping me and i will be recommending yourselves.

Your Feedback: I had only praise my Bubble Driving Instructor Sylwia M, she is a fantastic driving instructor but also a very honest , upfront and hard working teacher and a person . She worked very hard with me all around to make sure I tackle my weaknesses and I’m in control and take responsibility , I learnt and tackle drive not only on tests routes but all other routes too. I would highly recommend Sylwia to anyone who would like myself is with couple of failed tests and struggle to pass, you do need Sylwia :) sometimes is the right instructor to get the best out of you and show you that you can drive ! And I passed my first test with Sylwia on Thursday 20th of May with only one minor :)
Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: Sylwia M brilliant teacher , upfront , honest and capable of swift assessment of my skills , patient and taught me not only driving but also confidence on the road.

Your Feedback: My initially anxiety of driving with someone i don't know vanished quickly thanks to Mike and his calmness. Lessons with him felt comfortable and funny from the first hour. Even when i was making a mistakes he stayed calm and keep encouraging me. Although not driving for 3 moths due to lockdown, Mike helped me get used to everything again very fast and i did passed my driving test from first attempt.
Who was your instructor and how well did you get on with them?: I took driving lessons with Mike F as my instructor. He is brilliant driving instructor. Using excellent teaching methods. Very patient and relaxed.

Your Feedback: I had such a good experience with bubble driving school. I had Sarah Jayne and she was very lovely right from the start. I was always a nervous driver and never seemed to get the hang of it. I started of as a beginner and never getting in a car before to passing first time. Which I still can’t believe. I can’t thank Sarah enough she has really helped!
